FEES

Assessment and treatment sessions generally last 50 minutes. In some circumstances a longer session of 90 minutes may be required for couples or family work.

With adult or parenting work, I charge the same fee for assessment and treatment sessions as I find assessment may take more than one session. A flat fee enables the work to develop at a natural pace for you, without the pressure of fitting everything important to you into one session.

Fees range between £110 - £130 dependent on whether remote or face to face and whether adult, couples, family or child work.

Standard beginning and end of therapy letters to notify your GP will be issued, with your consent, and are included in your session charges. Any additional letters or reports that you may require will incur an additional admin charge to the standard session charges and are chargeable pro rata of the session fees. Any requested liaison with other professionals, such as schools or employers, also incur additional charges. Details will be provided in your therapy contract.

Sessions with children and adolescents are fee structured differently, as this work often entails a longer assessment, detailed reports as well as liaison with school or other systems. Please contact me for further details.

Payment of sessions

Sessions are payable on booking/ prior to the start of the booked session (including on the day of the appointment). Sessions are payable via cash, bank transfer or PayPal (online payment with credit or debit card).

Health insurance companies

I am registered with a range of health insurance companies including: Aviva, Axa, Cigna, Vitality Health and WPA. I will be registering with BUPA in the near future, please contact me to discuss.

Please note I have a limited number of insurance places in my practice. Please ensure you have spoken with your provider to confirm your policy covers therapy and have any requests approved in line with your policy.

No show, cancellations and changes to appointments

If you do not attend your booked appointment you will be charged for the session, with the exception of extraordinary circumstances and at the discretion of your treating clinician. In these cases you will be charged a reduced admin fee.

Should you wish to cancel or amend your session, this will need to be done with as much notice as possible. Please see cancellation/ amending charges below:

• Less than 48 hours notice: 100% charge of the session fee

If your allotted time slot is filled at short notice by another client, you will be refunded the cancellation/ amendment fee.

Please note that until any outstanding session or cancellation/ amendment fees are paid no further sessions will be offered. If this remains unfulfilled for longer than fourteen calendar days your regular time slot may be offered to another client.

In case of bad weather preventing your travel to a session, the session may be able to be changed to a remote video session. If you believe this may be required please speak to your clinician as soon as possible to arrange.

These conditions are essential as late cancellations and no shows make it difficult for the time slots to be filled by another client who may have been waiting some time for an appointment and they come at a cost to your treating clinician.
